What is the difference between a Pilates ring and a hula hoop?
A Pilates ring is significantly smaller (about 38 cm), flexible, and has two handles. It is not meant to be rotated around the hips but to be squeezed together (resistance training). It strengthens the muscles through static or pulsing tension.
